The artificial intelligence revolution and its impact on access to justice right

Artificial Intelligence, as a technology that simulates human cognitive capacity, is increasingly present in people's lives and in the Judiciary, becoming essential for legal practitioners and plaintiffs. In a context of high procedural costs, numerous demands and judicial slowness, AI appears as a solution to the problems of the Judiciary, since, among its benefits, are the reduction of errors, the automation of processes, the management and analysis of data, in addition to increasing productivity. However, concerns arise regarding the guarantee of fundamental rights and individual freedoms. Thus, this research aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of AI to the Judiciary, but highlighting the need to balance it in relation to human rights. To this end, deductive and bibliographic methods will be used, based on a legislative, doctrinal and jurisprudential analysis of the proposed topic.
